Red Hat stops Red Hat Linux

As previously communicated, Red Hat will discontinue maintenance and errata support for Red Hat Linux 7.1, 7.2, 7.3 and 8.0 as of December 31, 2003. Red Hat will discontinue maintenance and errata support for Red Hat Linux 9 as of April 30, 2004. Red Hat does not plan to release another product in the Red Hat Linux line.
This is from a newsletter received from Red Hat.
So Red Hat will not release Red Hat Linux anymore, what they will do? Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This name sucks, because I have a PC, not an enterprise. I believe the price will suck too; perhaps they will try to compete with Windows by making the price bigger, so it will look closer.
Yesterday I’ve heard that some programs won’t share the clipboard in Linux, if one was designed in Qt and the other with the other library, God knows its name, unless the window manager is aware of their stupid incompatibility. Now, this is really cool, because with MIcrosoft I can insert links to Excel cells in Outlook tasks, while Red Hat is going Useless Enterprise.
