Voice over crap

Netmaster Communications SRL used to be a nice VoIP provider. I considered buying one of those WiFi SIP phones, since it had great prices (5 eurocents Romania to USA) and I would not mind missing a few calls. But today I received an email saying that they want to migrate to a new server and, in the job, settings need to be re-confirmed. It was annoying to see my password in an email, clear text, the bad way their web page and their client software did all these years. But the worst was to come.

I administer multiple accounts for different relatives who will not be able to understand tech speak. In migration, the user name was chosen to be the phone numbers.
The first account I tried to activate had two numbers, and, in the process, the second number, paid for, simply disappeared. Oh, and on the number that was preserved, I have it logged on simultaneously on the old and the new server (by design?).
For the second account, activation went smoothly, but the new SIP account refuses to work.
For the third number I received an abominable error message.

I can’t believe, the number I am using is already in use. Is it, by any chance, used by me?
